How to Delete Your Rapchat Account

Rapchat provides a simple way to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

You can also delete your account directly in the app:

Delete from the App

1. Open Rapchat and go to your Profile.
2. Tap the Settings gear icon.
3. Scroll down to "Permanent Actions".
4. Tap "Delete Account".
5. Confirm that you want to delete your account.

Delete by Email

If you cannot access your account, email support@rapchat.com from the email address associated with your Rapchat account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your Rapchat account, the following data is permanently deleted immediately:

• Profile information — your username, display name, profile photo, and bio
• Songs and recordings — all songs, tracks, and recordings you created
• Beats — all beats you uploaded
• Social data — your followers, following lists, likes, and comments
• Messages — all direct messages and chat history
• Activity history — your listening history and in-app activity

What Data Is Retained

• Purchase and transaction records are retained as required by Apple, Google, and applicable tax and financial regulations. These records are anonymized and cannot be linked back to your deleted account.
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (such as usage statistics that do not identify you) may be retained.

Retention Period

All personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. There is no additional retention period.

Deleting Data Without Deleting Your Account

If you would like to remove specific content without deleting your entire account, you can delete individual songs or beats within the app, or mark songs as private to hide them from other users.
