Getting Started with Rapchat
Welcome to Rapchat! This guide will walk you through the basics of creating your account, finding beats, and recording your first song.
Creating Your Account
- Download the Rapchat app from the App Store or Google Play, or sign up at rapchat.com/signup.
- Tap Sign Up and enter your email, username, and password.
- Verify your email address to activate your account.
Finding Beats
Rapchat has thousands of free beats available across every genre -- hip-hop, R&B, pop, drill, trap, lo-fi, and more.
- Browse -- Head to the Beats section to explore curated collections.
- Search -- Use the search bar to find beats by name, genre, or producer.
- Charts -- Check out the trending and top-rated beats.
Recording Your First Song
- Find a beat you like and tap Record.
- Put on headphones so the beat plays through your ears while you record.
- Tap the microphone button to start recording.
- When you're done, tap stop and preview your recording.
- Add effects, adjust levels, and mix your track.
- Give your song a title, add artwork, and publish it.
Collaborating with Other Artists
Want to make music with someone else? You can send a feature request to any artist on Rapchat. They'll record their part and send it back to you.
